A Real Solution to a Real Problem
Serenity Springs is a 10-acre recovery center located on Cow Creek Road in Edgewater. Their mission is to provide the highest level of premium care with the best individualized treatment available, guaranteeing each client is treated with dignity, respect and anonymity.
The treatment program strives to build the spiritual strengths of its clients by using some of the best modern and innovative practices in addiction. Along with numerous new scientific and spiritual approaches to treatment, Serenity Springs utilizes the effective 12-step based approach to recovery that has been proven most effective in dealing with addiction over the last century.
Each client receives a thorough bio-psycho-social assessment of needs upon admission, as well as a psychiatric evaluation. In addition to psycho-educational and group therapy, clients receive individual therapy from licensed clinicians.
Through regular assessment of each individual’s progress, treatment is adjusted to achieve the maximum, sustainable and positive effect. Serenity Springs is personalized, stressing the focus on the individual and houses no more than 12 male clients at any given time. This ensures no one is lost in the shuffle, which can happen in many large treatment centers.
A client’s physical well being is an intregal part of the recovery process. The campus has its very own state of the art fitness center where daily fitness classes and training are conducted by a nationally certified personal trainer.
All residents live in resort style accommodations, with designs inspired by the Walt Disney World Resort. Breathtaking views and private baths, will make clients feel right at home. There are two large media areas along with four private offices, for group classes, lectures and leisure time. Clients dine together in an exquisite main dining area, as meals are prepared by a professional chef.
The property includes: water gardens for meditation, a three-acre lake, walking trails, a driving range and a 700 square foot state of the art workout center. By Spring of 2013, the campus will also include a basketball court, sand volleyball court, in-ground pool and three par 3 golf holes.
Upon completion of treatment, each client will be assisted with his development of an aftercare plan.
