A Tour and Tea
The Stetson Mansion invites you to pass the scones and pour the tea for a special tea party. The mansion is now offering new tours, focusing on the life of Elizabeth Stetson.
Guests are encouraged to dress in their finest Victorian era wear for the tea party. If you don’t have an outfit, you may rummage through a chest of hats, shoes, and gloves to participate in “grown up” dress up.
As you enter the large house, Elizabeth Stetson herself greets you on the grand staircase to welcome you into her home and invite you on a tour. After touring a portion of the home, tea party-goers enter the original schoolhouse that Elizabeth had built for her children on the grounds. The tables are filled with delicious delights including petite tea sandwiches, scones, and sweets.
