flow mobile, gather go getFLOWmobiles are equipped with the technology and ability to bring valuable motorist services directly to customers.
They provide a convenient method to renew a driver license, change a name or address on a driver license, get an identification card, and renew vehicle registrations.
Parents with children ages five to 17 can bring their children to the FLOWmobile to get an identification card made for the child.
FLOWmobiles also offer the newest safety initiatives and campaigns by the Florida Highway Patrol, including Emergency Contact Information registration. The Department encourages everyone with a Florida driver license or ID card to register their Emergency Contact Information. The information can then be accessed only by law enforcement officers to find designated contacts in the case of an emergency, such as a vehicle crash.
Customers who wish to obtain a driver license or ID card must bring documents to show proof of:
(1) identification
(2) Social Security number
(3) residential address (two items)
Parents bringing their children in for an ID card should bring in a signed statement to attest the applicant resides with them at the given address, in addition to the two proofs of residential address.
Customers who have legally changed their names must bring additional documentation.
To find out exactly what you need to bring with you, visit Gather, Go, Get or call (850) 617-3995. FLOWmobile staff will assist customers who do not have the required documents on hand by explaining what documents they need and how to obtain them.
In addition to cash and personal checks, the Department accepts the following credit cards: MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card.
The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles provides highway safety and security through excellence in service, education and enforcement. The Department is leading the way to a safer Florida through the efficient and professional execution of its core mission: the issuance of driver licenses, vehicle tags and titles and operation of the Florida Highway Patrol.
