Daytona Cubs vs. Dunedin Blue Jays
Ladies Night, Cubby’s Crew and Kids Run Bases
Ladies enter to win prizes throughout the night, members of Cubby’s Crew get to watch the game for free and kids can run the bases after the game.
Fans who show their military ID will receive a $4.00 General Admission ticket.
Each Saturday, vendors take their place in front of Old Fort Park in the Canal Street Historic District. Local farmers offer fruit, vegetables, herbs, flowers, plants, juices, dairy, seafood and grass-fed meats.
Organic and pesticide-free produce are available. Quality handcrafted items and baked goods also are offered.
Once again it is “Bike and Bar” time. Last year ended with a total of around 1,100 riders. The promoters ask if you have any good photos or videos to link it/post them to the Bike and Bar Facebook page. If ordering shirts get the orders in soon. Please remember you do not need to buy a shirt, just show up.
Professional Surfing Lessons serving: Daytona Beach, Ponce Inlet, New Smyrna Beach and outlying Orlando area.
Located at the beautiful lighthouse point park in Ponce Inlet Florida, we are only minutes south on A1A from the “worlds most famous beach” – Daytona Beach. Here you will find an experienced professional instruction program teaching surfing and ocean skills in a positive all ages environment.
Students will learn paddling techniques, balance and how to read the ocean during this week long course.
Whether it is your first time on a surf board, or you are aspiring to become an elite professional surfer, our team of highly experienced watermen will make your camp experience fun and memorable. Our small camp size is limited to a maximum of 15 surfers per week to increase the amount of instruction you receive.
This summer, local youth can learn to catch a rail at the New Smyrna Beach Summer Skate Camp. The camp offers skateboarding lessons, safety instruction and arts and crafts. Lunch also is provided.
Youth age 6-14 may attend. The cost is $105 for New Smyrna Beach residents and $110 for non-residents.
Registration is ongoing and can be completed at the New Smyrna Beach Recreation Department, 1000 Live Oak Street or online at here.
Skipper wannabes may learn to tack and jib at the annual summer Sail Camp hosted by the New Smyrna Beach Parks and Recreation Department.
Yacht Club members will teach students age 12 – 20 to sail without assistance. Lessons include hands on training on the water, terminology, sailing techniques, wind, currents, safety precautions and more.
The cost to participate is $150 for New Smyrna Beach residents and $155 for non-residents.
Class size is limited to 12 students per class.
All students must bring their lunch, drinks, sunscreen, sunglasses, sneakers or boat shoes and swimwear.
Each student also must have a type 3 life jacket and training manual. Manuals are $25.
Students may register online here or at the Recreation Department, 1000 Live Oak Street.
Reservations will be accepted a week before the canoe date. Join a guide as you explore this rich and diverse estuary up close. some experience is preferred. You must be at least 8 years old and able to paddle. You must wear covered shoes (no sandals or flip-flops). Bring water, sunscreen and a hat. Dress to get wet. Individuals with their own kayaks or canoes are welcome to join in. Call to reserve your spot. Meet at the Visitors Information Center at 9:45 AM. We will leave promptly at 10:00 AM.

Discover gifts from the sea on a walk on the shore. We’ll look for seashells, driftwood and other wonderful surprises. Be sure to put on sun screen and bring plenty of water.

WET Pool at the Hilton is located in the North Tower on the 5th floor. Valet parking is available.
Beach Attire is Required – 21 and up ONLY
Explore interesting wines as you walk Flagler Avenue. During the progressive event, taste your choice of more than 100 showcased wines. Wine tasting passports are $25 and are available at 113 Flagler, at the tent at Flagler Avenue and Cooper Street, or at the corner of S. Atlantic and Flagler Avenue. Passports include 20 tasting tickets and a keepsake wine glass. Some locations feature both one- and multi-ticket wines to sample. Those who want to share their 20 tasting tickets with a friend may get an additional wine glass for $5.
