Outdoor Movie: Finding Nemo
Here in New Smyrna Beach, we’re proud of our efforts to preserve wildlife and natural resources, and would like to share it during this great family weekend. On June 15th, following the Sand Art Competition and an afternoon of fun and games with Radio Disney, visitors will have a wonderful opportunity to relax and learn about our preservation of Sea Turtles right here in Southeast Volusia County.
Team Members from Canaveral National Seashore and the Marine Discovery Center will host an educational seminar where you have the chance to find out about all sorts of ocean creatures and river critters! Check out shark, whale, mollusk and crustacean exhibits, and get up close and personal with live turtles. Explore the educational opportunities for kids and grown-ups alike, and join in the fun activities presented by the Marine Discovery Center. End the evening under the stars with everyone’s favorite surfer dude, Crush the Turtle, at an outdoor showing of the Disney movie favorite, “FINDING NEMO”.
