The Tour of Homes is the main fundraiser for and benefits IMAGES: A Festival of the Arts, a nationally recognized outdoor juried art show, which will be held January 24, 25 and 26, 2014 along Riverside Drive, up Historic Canal Street and throughout picturesque Riverside Park in downtown New Smyrna Beach.
Marching bands, decorated floats, dancers and even troupes of horses will travel the New Smyrna Beach Waterfront LOOP. The annual Christmas parade will travel the LOOP from Flagler Avenue to Canal Street in New Smyrna Beach.
The parade theme is “sleigh bells and snowflakes.”
Spectators will begin lining the parade route at 3:30 p.m. The North Causeway will close at 3:30 p.m. between Riverside Drive and Flagler Avenue. Drivers who want to avoid parade traffic should use the southern edge of the LOOP (the South Causeway).
Explore interesting wines as you walk Flagler Avenue. During the progressive event, taste your choice of more than 100 showcased wines. Wine tasting passports are $25 and are available at 113 Flagler, at the tent at Flagler Avenue and Cooper Street, or at the corner of S. Atlantic and Flagler Avenue. Passports include 20 tasting tickets and a keepsake wine glass. Some locations feature both one- and multi-ticket wines to sample. Those who want to share their 20 tasting tickets with a friend may get an additional wine glass for $5.
