The Membership Meeting will be held to vote on the slate of officers for the Board. Members are encouraged to attend and let their voices be heard. Walter Snell, the President of the Halifax Historical Museum, will be speaking after the vote.
The city of New Smyrna Beach is encouraging all of its neighborhoods to attend a Council Meeting regarding their overall roles in the City. Locals are asked to express their concerns, priorities, and suggestions.

Officer Williams from the NSB Police Department will be speaking about what to do in case of an armed attack. We will also have building and grounds showing us what to do in case of a hurricane. We want everyone to be safe and know what to do in an emergency. This is open to members and non-members and there is no fee.
Anyone who would like to be on the planning committee for the Founders Day Celebration on November 1st and 2nd , the meeting will immediately follow our Safety Seminar. Feel free to bring lunch or snacks in case we go a little long.
