Businesses may make the most of their time by participating in the second annual New Smyrna Beach Job Fair from 10 a.m.- 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 14, at the Alonzo “Babe” James Community Center, 201 N. Myrtle Ave., New Smyrna Beach. Participating businesses will have the opportunity to survey a large number of job applicants quickly and inexpensively during the event. They also will be able to network with other employers and cross-promote their business. Space is first come, first served. Advanced registration is required. The cost is $20 per table. Checks and envelopes should be made out to NSB Job Fair and mailed to New Smyrna Beach CRA Office, 210 Sams Avenue.

The workshop, titled “Marketing Matters,” will help business owners to understand their products or services, customers, prospects and competitors.

Ned Harper, Daytona State College Small Business Development Center director, will facilitate.

This workshop is sponsored by the City of New Smyrna Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), the City of New Smyrna Beach and he Small Business Development Center of Daytona State College.

Join us for 3 days of fun along the beautiful Indian River.

Enjoy carnival rides, great food, a business expo and an exciting entertainment line-up, and of course, Edgewater Riverfest takes place on the shores of the Indian River so there will be lots of river activities including kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and the 3rd annual “Tug Boat Race.”

The business expo portion of the event takes place on Saturday, March 15th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We have approximately 200 booth spaces available for area businesses. Due to the success of last years event we expect to fill up fast.
