This isn’t your every day 5K. This one will be along the beautiful sands of New Smyrna Beach, starting from the Flagler Avenue approach and heading south to the 27th Avenue approach. A low-tide start time will ensure a great, hard packed surface for both runners and walkers. Competitive runners will enjoy this timed beachfront race, while families and those just wanting to enjoy the day can opt to walk or stroll. Prizes will be given for top finishers.
The workshop, titled “Marketing Matters,” will help business owners to understand their products or services, customers, prospects and competitors.
Ned Harper, Daytona State College Small Business Development Center director, will facilitate.
This workshop is sponsored by the City of New Smyrna Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), the City of New Smyrna Beach and he Small Business Development Center of Daytona State College.
Space is limited. Advanced registration is suggested.
The Lighthouse Loop Half Marathon & 5k routes begin in Port Orange, just near the base of the Dunlawton Bridge. The half marathon route will take you south until you loop around the scenic Ponce Inlet lighthouse. When you cross the finish line prepare yourself for a great after party at our exclusive Party Zone.
This race will help raise funds for the ten public high school athletic departments in Volusia County. In our inaugural race in 2012 we raised over $20,000 for the schools. We hope to raise more this year.
