Stroll the Canal Street Historic District Saturday, April 6, during the monthly 1st Saturday Art Stroll and Gallery Walk in the NSB Waterfront LOOP. On the first Saturday of the month, artistic vendors set up along the historic street from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. A free concert also is scheduled from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Christmas Park. Galleries feature solo and group exhibitions and artist talks in the Douglas Avenue area of the district from 4-7 p.m. Admission is free.

The race boats depart from the Smyrna Yacht Club docks
9:00 AM Boats will assemble in the ocean off Ponce Inlet

Learn the skill and grace that goes along with this fun hobby at the Canaveral National Seashore. If you have a cast net, please feel free to bring it with you (we will provide a few nets). Bring water and insect repellant. Meet at the Visitor Center dock.
PLEASE NOTE: all programs are subject to cancellation and/or rescheduling due to staff limitations, weather conditions, or other factors. Some programs require reservations, a minimum age, or a cost-recovery fee. Call 386-428-3384 ext. 0 for program information during operating hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), www.nps.gov/cana. Entrance fees apply to all interpretive program participants. All programs meet the requirements for the Canaveral National Seashore Junior Ranger program.

Explore the seashore with a digital camera. We will compose the picture and learn about the natural history of the dunes/beach environment. Bring sunscreen and water. If you have a digital camera you can bring it, or use the center’s. Meet at Visitor Center.

The Canal Street Cruise will be from 4-8 p.m., Saturday, April 13, along historic Canal Street, New Smyrna Beach. Sponsored by the East Coast Cruisers, the family-friendly classic car show offers food and entertainment in a historic setting.

Horsin’ Around raises 15% of Atlantic Center’s operating budget, allowing them to provide arts-related programming to underserved youth, opportunities for working artists to create new work through our acclaimed residency programs, and educational lectures and performances for the greater Central Florida community, serving 50,000 yearly.
