All 100+ vendors open, 4-H Animal Encounter, the Inspiration Village, live entertainment on the 80,000-watt Fest Stage, and the Carnival Rides open (until 10:00 PM). Static display aircraft, including a B-25 bomber, a classic DC-3, a Corsair, T-6′s, P-51 Mustangs, helicopters, and fighters, can be enjoyed all afternoon and evening!

RIDES (all afternoon, until dark… Huey and Enstrom helicopters, airplanes, B-25 bomber).

Lots of FOOD all day.
BEER: 2 PM – 9 PM.

Veterans Honor Ceremony, sponsored by Halifax Health – Hospice, with The Vietnam Veterans Honor Guard, at approximately 1:15 PM, followed by fly-bys of numerous warbirds representing the several wars of the past Century

NOTE: The show has been approved by all branches of the military for participation by their aircraft, but the level of participation will depend on world events and training requirements.

Art Stroll/Gallery Walk @ NSB Waterfront LOOP

Stroll the Canal Street Historic District Saturday, April 6, during the monthly 1st Saturday Art Stroll and Gallery Walk in the NSB Waterfront LOOP. On the first Saturday of the month, artistic vendors set up along the historic street from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. A free concert also is scheduled from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in Christmas Park. Galleries feature solo and group exhibitions and artist talks in the Douglas Avenue area of the district from 4-7 p.m. Admission is free.

earth dayThe City of Edgewater is throwing a “Party for the Planet” and everyone is invited.

The free, family-friendly event will include exhibits by environmental organizations, hands-on activities for children, entertainment, vendors selling produce, plants, crafts, and earth-friendly products, and more.

Wine Walk / Art Walk @ Flagler Ave.

winewalkfinalExplore interesting wines as you walk Flagler Avenue.  During the progressive event, taste your choice of more than 100 showcased wines. Wine tasting passports are $25 and are available at 113 Flagler, at the tent at Flagler Avenue and Cooper Street, or at the corner of S. Atlantic and Flagler Avenue. Passports include 20 tasting tickets and a keepsake wine glass. Some locations feature both one- and multi-ticket wines to sample. Those who want to share their 20 tasting tickets with a friend may get an additional wine glass for $5. The event coincides with the Flagler Avenue Art Walk. Artists will offer fine art exhibits from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. along the Avenue.
