Our 30, 60 and 90-day treatment programs strive to build the spiritual strengths of our clients, by using the best modern and innovative practices such as EMDR.

We also focus on the effective 12-Step based approach to recovery that has been proven most effective in dealing with addiction over the last century.

Serenity Springs houses only ten clients at any given time and stresses the attention on the individual person and is committed to being small, intimate, and affordable with a staff to client ratio of 1:2.

We are currently a private fee-for-service facility that accepts all major credit cards. Financing and partial scholarships are also available.

Haircuts will be provided for a donation. The event also will include musical entertainment, food, and vendors. Cuts for Cudas III is hosted by Cudas Unhooked – a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting at-risk students at New Smyrna Beach High School.

About the Department of State’s Special Viva Florida 500 Week Exhibit, April 4-6

Florida Archives

Some of Florida’s most historical documents that are rarely made available for public viewing will be on display from April 4-6, 2013, in the Department of State’s Museum of Florida History. These documents include Florida’s original 1838 Constitution and a 1586 map of Sir Francis Drake’s West Indian voyage.

Museum of Florida History and Conservation Lab Tours

The Department of State’s Museum of Florida History will be offering tours April 4-6 of its new permanent exhibitForever Changed, La Florida, 1513-1821, a wide-ranging exhibit highlighting the Native American and Spanish colonial history. The Department of State’s Florida Bureau of Archaeological Research will also be offering behind-the-scenes tours of its conservation lab, which is responsible for the stabilization and preservation of archaeological objects excavated from state land and waters. The lab tours will showcase artifacts encountered on Florida’s archaeological sites, which range from prehistoric canoes and projectile points to Spanish shipwreck materials.

 V Centennial Celebration of the Discovery (Melbourne Beach) – In celebration of Juan Ponce de Leόn’s arrival on Florida’s shore 500 years ago, the United Third Bridge, Inc. and The Florida Puerto Rican Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Inc. have organized an array of events beginning April 2, and lasting for 3 days.  Ponce de León 30o – 8’ Celebration (Ponte Vedra) – At noon on April 2, 1513, it is believed by many that Ponce de León’s navigators logged their ship’s position at 30 degrees 8 minutes, just north of the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve’s boundaries.  In honor of this legendary event, the GTM Research Reserve will unveil the new Ponce Exhibit, an educational display at their North Beach Access.  Visit www.gtmnerr308ponce.eventbrite.com

 Juan Ponce de León Commemorative Re-enactment & Mass (St. Augustine) – Watch the re-enactment of Ponce de León’s momentous landing along historic downtown St. Augustine followed by a special Catholic Mass conducted at the Cathedral Basilica, of which many church leadership will be presiding. An exact replica of the baptismal font in which Ponce was baptized will be installed in the Cathedral Basilica, to serve as a functional baptismal font for the church.   Visit www.staugustine-450.com

nsb cudas logoPlease join us for the 3rd annual Ficofest music festival – a fundraiser started in honor of NSBHS Math teacher Fico Fernandez who died surfing August 2011 in New Smyrna Beach.

Money raised is granted to local youth to purchase equipment and/or lessons in the areas of music, sports and the arts.

Bands scheduled to play include: Key of Sea (formally Electric Church), Aiming East, Colony, Radon Moon and surprise special guests.

The New Smyrna Beach Middle School Jazz band kicks it off at noon. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $12 and include a fish dinner, live music, and door prizes. There will be a silent auction with unique items. It’s a day of great music, food and fun.  Come on out and support your community and local youth.

Refreshments will be provided along with activities for the children including a visit from Santa and the New Smyrna Beach High School Cuda’s mascot.

Holidays lights will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by a performance from the Show Dolls.

Other entertainment includes a DJ, photo booth and balloon art by Michael Van Ness.

nsbcapsYou will be challenged to find another event with so many activities. The day’s events start sharply at 10:30 a.m. in the high school auditorium, NSB CAPS will be holding its 8th Annual Cuda Achiever’s Award ceremony, sponsored by Winn Dixie.

We will be inducting into the Legacy Walk legends area, five extremely distinguished alumni who have made their mark in various areas of expertise.  The Legacy Walk engraved brick program has raised over $57,000 in its first year and has been dedicated as part of the ceremony.

After the Ceremony come join us for a heaping serving of spaghetti while being entertained by 100+ performers including live music, dancing and a few surprises. Take a break from the entertainment long enough to take advantage of the many great items in the Silent Auction.
