Don’t Ignore the Warning Signs

Are you concerned your loved one may have a problem with drugs and alcohol?  Here are some warning signs I experienced in my own struggle with addiction for over 10 years.  Ask yourself the following three questions:

  1. Does your loved one make firm resolutions to stop or moderate their use, but is never able to stay committed to this decision for any considerable length of time?
  2. Does your loved one get defensive when asked about his or her alcohol/drug use?
  3. Does he or she lie about the amounts they use, or hide their using from you and others?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, your loved one may be suffering from a disease they cannot recover from on their own.  If you are concerned about someone abusing drugs and/or alcohol  please call us any time at (386)423-4540.

Experts are available to answer questions and give information about how you can help.
