Dorothy Fletcher (Edwards) Jarvis
Dorothy died on January 21, 2013, after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. Born in Ayer on October 18, 1942, to the late Virginia (Fletcher) and Franklin Edwards, Dottie grew up in Littleton, MA with her siblings, Virginia Sibley, and the late Franklin Edwards Jr.
After raising her children on her own; Donna Hampson, Daniel Jarvis and Michael Jarvis, she moved to NSB, Florida with Jack McNiff. Dottie enjoyed many happy years in the home she loved and worked so hard to create.
She loved flowers, birds, animals, knitting and crocheting. Dot enjoyed her life – she was always smiling; people were drawn to her kindness and funny spirit. Despite her own serious illness, and caring for her disabled companion, she also helped lonely neighbors.
Dorothy leaves five grandchildren and many special family and friends.
