Dorothy Ingram PicDorothy May Ingram, 92, of Crystal Lake, Illinois, formerly of New Smyrna Beach, FL, passed away on Tuesday January 29, 2013 at Sunrise Senior Living Center in Crystal Lake. “Dottie” as she was known to her family and friends was born in Springfield, IL on September 27, 1920 to Henry Wragen and Lillian Edna Pickett Kemp.

Dottie married Melvin Blanton Ingram on March 16, 1945, who preceded her in death on July 14, 2007.

Mrs. Ingram is survived by her three daughters: Sharon, Bonnie, and Darlene, eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was a 1939 graduate of Springfield High School, a Registered Nurse and a homemaker. Dorothy and her husband operated a tax and accounting business in the New Smyrna Beach area for many years.

A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday February 1, 2013, at Bisch and Son Funeral Home in Springfield, Illinois.

Family and friends attended a memorial service from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday February 1, 2013, followed by internment at Roselawn Memorial Park also in Springfield, Illinois.
