Fishing, Food Trucks, Free Concerts and Fireworks
The City is hosting a July 4 Celebration in Riverside Park that will culminate with a fireworks show at 9:15 p.m. Attendees at the riverfront venue will be able to get an eye-full of lights in the sky since the New Smyrna Beach show immediately will follow the City of Edgewater’s display at 9 p.m.
“You will be able to see the Edgewater show a mile or so to the south and then turn and see the New Smyrna Beach fireworks right in front of you,” said Liz Yancey, New Smyrna Beach recreation and events director.
The New Smyrna Beach July 4 Celebration runs from 9 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. The day begins with a free family fishing tournament until 2 p.m. near the Brannon Center. Check in is at 8:30 a.m. The tourney includes a hot dog cookout and awards. Additional July 4 activities in Riverside Park include:
