Habitat For Humanity and Local Businesses Team Up for Brush With Kindness
Saturday, Feb. 9, Habitat for Humanity and the New Smyrna Beach Board of Realtors worked together towards the revitalization of the historic Westside on Mary Ave.
The pilot program, Brush with Kindness, is an exterior home preservation service that offers painting, landscaping, weather stripping and minor repair services for homeowners in need.
The event brought many volunteers including local Realtors and affiliates of the New Smyrna Beach Board of Realtors.
This event was also a trial to see how to connect the City of NSB through the Community Redevelopment Agency and the SEV Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat for Humanity is looking for opportunity to expand the scope of current programs to allow them to do more for homeowners in the surrounding communities of New Smyrna Beach.
