Kiwanis Club Fishing Derby
On Saturday, November 17, 2012, the Kiwanis Club of Southeast Volusia County held their annual Kids Fishing Derby at Riverside Park. More than 200 kids participated this year, setting a new record for the most fish caught during this event. Below is a list of winners and pictures from the event.
Ages 4-6
- Madison Russ won Most Fish: total of 10 fish caught
- Layla Reasin won Largest Fish: 12.5 inch
- Randal Robertson won Smallest Fish: 4.5 inch fish
Ages 7-9
- Cody Nicastro won Most Fish: total of 15 fish caught
- Gage Quasney won Biggest Fish: 11 inches
- Rachel Thomas won Smallest Fish: 5.5 inches
Ages 10-14
- George Pisula won Most Fish: total of 19 fish caught
- Patrick Foley won Biggest Fish: 14 inches
- Faith LaBlanc won Smallest Fish: 4.5 inches
