Oak Hill Charter School Continues to Grow
The Burns Science and Technology Charter School in Oak Hill hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, August 15, officially opening the doors to their new building and classrooms.
The NSB Board of Realtors (BOR) donated school supplies during the ceremony and they didn’t stop there. Chairman of the Special Events Committee, Rich Allen, along with other BOR volunteers, drove to schools all over Southeast Volusia to deliver reams of paper to the teachers.
Burns SciTech is a tuition-free charter school that focuses on project based learning in science, technology and math.
