Spanish River Grill: Bistro Latino
With the holidays fast approaching I decided to revisit the newly renovated Spanish River Grill with family and friends.
Once again we enjoyed the brunch featuring Shrimp Grits and Toast and Tostones and Avocado (pictured below). Although you may prefer Chop Steak and Egg (pictured right), The Chef’s Breakfast or a favorite Krispy Kreme and Bacon Bread Pudding priced at $9.
We challenged Chef Henry to make Eggs Benedict, which I so happen to serve each New Year’s day. Not only did he respond, but won the challenge with his Crab and Avocado Benedict priced at $13. A gourmet’s delight.
With a modern approach to Latino cuisine, husband and wife duo Chef Henry and Michelle Salgado, prepare a blend of regional ingredients strongly influenced by the Latino neighborhoods and the traditional Spanish countryside.
Chef Henry and his team of chefs work to prepare the freshest seafood and seasonal vegetables available to give the Spanish River Grill guests an exceptional celebration of food. This is their pride of culinary excellence.
Our friends Rachel Watson and her husband find the Spanish River Grill offers a diverse and unique menu.
“I also belive they have some of the freshest food in NSB. My favorite is their Sunday brunch; from the variety of dishes to their drink specials. The combination of fresh ingredients and herbs/spices are the chef’s secret.”
Rachel feels the atmosphere is lovely with live music during the brunch hours.
“This is a must visit restaurant, but give yourself plenty of time to enjoy this dining experience,” says Rachel and her husband.
We will celebrate with family and out of town guests for brunch again this weekend.
